Network adoption vs token demand
Separate company success, network activity, required token use and durable demand through source-bounded causal analysis.
Four separate questions
A company can sell useful infrastructure without routing the work through a public network. A public network can carry useful activity without requiring much of its native token. Required token use can recycle existing balances. Token appreciation can reflect outside market expectations rather than proportional utility acquisition.
Ask in order: which defined system is used; whether the token-bearing route is required; how much inventory, locking, burn or outside purchase occurs; and which part is directly demonstrated.
The missing coefficient
A production announcement establishes only the step it actually observes. Financial principal, customer counts and gross transfers are not native-token demand. Small gas balances, sponsored fees, private execution and reuse can weaken transmission.
Evidence for future deployment belongs in a commitment or proving trigger. It does not make the future operation live or put successful future catalysts into today’s warranted range.
Read the path with its bypass
A causal path should retain Proven, Supported, Unresolved, Weak, Bypassed and N/A where warranted. A missing step must stay visible. The primary bypass describes how the system can succeed while token economics remain weaker.
Real asset cases
Scheduled / committed deployment · Evidence date: 2026
planned institutional architecture pairs a tokenized fund on XRPL directly with RLUSD and contemplates later collateral/repo usage.
Not proven: XRP principal role.
XRP-DBS-FRANKLIN-RLUSD-BYPASS-01Accepted token thesis and primary bypass
Token thesis
Ripple has assembled an unusually complete institutional-finance capability stack, and XRPL is being developed as a settlement, tokenization, liquidity and collateral rail. XRP’s strongest established transmission is market-proxy demand and independent inventory channels; proportional utility-driven acquisition remains poorly quantified. Ripple and XRPL can grow while XRP remains optional for much of the principal economic flow.
Primary bypass
Ripple can succeed without XRPL. XRPL can succeed without material XRP principal use. XRP use can occur without new external purchases.
Principal value may flow through RLUSD, tokenized securities, direct issued-asset pairs, conventional settlement and offchain custody. Required XRP can come from existing balances, contributions, leases or recycled liquidity.

Avalanche L1s can use custom gas assets and configurable fee/reward structures.
Not proven: That institutions voluntarily choose AVAX for meaningful gas/security/reserve roles.
AVAX-CUSTOM-GAS-BYPASS-01Accepted token thesis and primary bypass
Token thesis
AVAX retains mandatory C-Chain gas/burn, Primary Network staking/security and sovereign-L1 validator PAYG burn. Post-Etna L1s can use custom gas and sovereign validator economics without the old Primary Network stake. The small mandatory control-plane fee is real; a much larger token path depends on repeated AVAX-linked liquidity, collateral, reserves or execution, supplemented by investment/proxy demand.
Primary bypass
Institutions can choose Avalanche technology and private/sovereign execution while using their own gas, validators and outside liquidity. They still pay a small AVAX control-plane fee, but valuable transaction notional need not translate into proportional token consumption.
Negative control · Evidence date: historical / current
Broadridge DLR processes very large repo activity using private-synchronizer infrastructure.
Dated research scope / source limitation · historical / current Broadridge DLR/private-synchronizer scope is retained as dated canonical research and a negative control. Exact cutoff deployment/volume documents remain unbound. Private repo activity is not automatically public-GS paid traffic, CC burn or externally sourced institutional CC purchases. Canonical Stage, Tier and Lifecycle are research classifications retained from the accepted Ledger; this notice is not new source verification.
Not proven: public-GS traffic or CC fees from DLR scale.
CAN-BROADRIDGE-01Accepted token thesis and primary bypass
Token thesis
CC has a real paid-traffic burn mechanism, large observed locks and demonstrated outside-funded strategic purchases. The unresolved bridge is the share of institutional activity using ordinary paid public-GS traffic, the sourcing of burned CC, and whether traffic growth can outrun reward minting and seller-capable inventory.
Primary bypass
Canton technology can succeed on private synchronizers while CC economics remain weak. Even public-GS activity may be free, SV-exempt or paid from reward/legacy inventories rather than fresh outside purchases.
