Evidence confidence & research tiers
Separate source quality, deployment stage, evidence tier, research depth and unresolved score-moving uncertainty.
Quality, maturity and research depth differ
A primary technical document can establish a mechanism without proving adoption. An official commitment can be well sourced while deployment remains forward. A pilot demonstrates its tested scope, not scaled production. An analytical inference must expose its component facts and limits.
Evidence tier is the canonical Ledger classification retained on each record. Stage labels distinguish live production, committed deployment, pilot, enabler, roadmap and monitoring. Research depth describes the assessment’s research process; Audited Deep Research is not a guarantee that every future or commercially private variable is known. This explanation does not invent a replacement A/B/C/D/F grading rubric.
Evidence Confidence is a separate public field
High: load-bearing conclusions are mostly supported by Tier A/B evidence, with few unresolved score-moving variables. Medium: the core thesis is supported but material coefficients or stages remain unresolved. Low: the score relies substantially on C/D inference, missing telemetry, uncertain provenance or future assumptions.
Confidence is separate from score and range width. A strong system can have a well-supported weak token thesis; a narrow range is not a probability of profitable investment.
Research debt is not residual uncertainty
An unretrieved public source is a retrieval/provenance gap. A decision-critical variable still absent after proportionate research is residual uncertainty. Neither should be silently supplied from intuition. Current links can also fail to reproduce historical dashboard snapshots.
Read every fact at its Evidence date and scope. Canonical IDs keep the observation inspectable; What Is Not Proven prevents a source from being stretched into a stronger claim. Later Ledger evidence is separate from the forensic cutoff and does not automatically update scores.
Real asset cases
Scheduled / committed deployment · Evidence date: legacy / forward
HQLA-x migration/support work aligns with Canton collateral mobility.
Not proven: completed scaled migration or paid-GS economics.
CAN-HQLA-X-COLLATERAL-01Accepted token thesis and primary bypass
Token thesis
CC has a real paid-traffic burn mechanism, large observed locks and demonstrated outside-funded strategic purchases. The unresolved bridge is the share of institutional activity using ordinary paid public-GS traffic, the sourcing of burned CC, and whether traffic growth can outrun reward minting and seller-capable inventory.
Primary bypass
Canton technology can succeed on private synchronizers while CC economics remain weak. Even public-GS activity may be free, SV-exempt or paid from reward/legacy inventories rather than fresh outside purchases.

21X went live on Stellar under the EU DLT Pilot Regime with onchain order matching and atomic DvP capability.
Not proven: Stellar-specific securities balances, trading volume or participant activity.
XLM-21X-REGULATED-DISTRIBUTION-01Accepted token thesis and primary bypass
Token thesis
XLM fees, rent and account/subentry reserves are mandatory but small and linked to ledger complexity rather than asset dollars. Sponsorship shifts the reserve bearer. There is no proof-of-stake sink; large voluntary XLM supply in lending mostly demonstrates holder inventory, not borrower-driven scarcity. Important catalysts can still reach XLM through a separate, conditionally supported market-proxy path.
Primary bypass
Regulated assets and payments can grow with small recycled/sponsored XLM costs while principal stays in issued assets. Major counterparties including MoneyGram and DTCC are multichain; important network selection is not exclusive token capture. RWA reuse remains emerging and not proportional to asset issuance.
Live production · Evidence date: 29 September 2026
the four observed flagship vaults together showed approximately $1.77B TVL and ~$143K/day of Merkl rewards. Robinhood paid steakUSDG, Sentora RLUSD paid RLUSD, PayPal USD Main paid PYUSD, and Coinbase High Yield paid about $11.19K/day MORPHO plus $21.26K/day USDC at the observed snapshot.
Not proven: that Morpho itself funds most subsidies; Morpho docs explicitly allow campaigns funded by governance, market creators, curators or token issuers. Reward-token identity alone does not prove campaign sponsor. It is also not yet proven how much TVL would leave when rewards end.
MORPHO-INCENTIVE-ECONOMICS-01Dynamic source — claim reflects the Evidence date; current values may differ.
29 September Ledger observation, newer than the forensic cutoff. Current registry remains unchanged; this is not part of the 24 September snapshot.
Accepted token thesis and primary bypass
Token thesis
Morpho is a large operating credit network increasingly embedded beneath third-party financial brands. Ordinary lending, borrowing and vault use do not require MORPHO, and current direct holder revenue is effectively zero. Strategic token acquisition and network/governance proxy demand are separate channels from mandatory user economics.
Primary bypass
Morpho becomes a major embedded credit backend while lenders, distributors, curators, stablecoin issuers and interfaces capture most of the economics; ordinary users never need MORPHO; fee machinery remains inactive or is reinvested; and allocated token inventory continues entering circulation.
